BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man is in the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of lewd conduct with a child under 16 years of age, according to a news release from the Boise Police Department. After an investigation, officers arrested Wayne Norman, 68, on the above charge.
The investigation began when BPD officers learned of the report on July 8, 2020. After a search warrant and further investigations, officers found evidence the lewd conduct had happened over a number of years, according to the release.
BPD says the victim is known to Norman and was under the age of 16 when the abuse reportedly began. Norman was booked into the Ada County Jail on August 26 and is not eligible for bail, according to the Ada County Jail website.
