BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man was arrested Monday morning after he refused to exit his home to talk with officers of reports of a domestic dispute.

Boise Police were called on reports of a domestic dispute at 32nd and Gooding that allegedly happened Sunday night. Police tried to talk with the suspect, 29-year-old Craig Quilici, but he refused to leave the residence or speak with officers, according to Boise police.

The residence Quilici was in was a fourplex, so officers evacuated the other three units as they tried to speak with the suspect. The Crisis Negotiation Team and a Special Operation Unit were called to the residence around 9 a.m., police said.

Quilici surrendered after several hours and was taken into custody, police say. He is charged with felony domestic battery and felony attempted strangulation.

Police said further investigations showed Quilici crawled through the attic to enter each of the attached units in the fourplex before returning to his unit and surrendering.
