BOISE, Idaho — A Boise mom is working to spread sparks of joy to the community this week.
Tosha Jones has been handing out thousands of sparklers to families all over the city. The idea is to give families a COVID-safe way to celebrate the new year.
Jones says after the year we've had, we all need a little extra hope.
"There's loss all around and it's not just lives, it's the loss of normal routines or jobs and businesses so doing something like this brings a little bit of joy and a normal celebration to things," Jones explained.
I LOVE this!❤ A local mom is handing out sparklers to give Boise families some extra joy for the new year! ✨ Tosha Jones says she's handed out 6,000 sparklers already! (Photos courtesy of Tosha Jones)
