Boise Navy Week

Today marks the start of Boise Navy Week in Idaho, and to start it off right Good Morning Idaho was joined by Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham. 

Navy Week is a cross-country tour focused on cities without a port, to show why having a strong Navy is critical to the United States.

Monday, August 22

9 a.m. / Governor’s Proclamation with Ceremonial Navy Band at the Capitol Steps

 At the Western Idaho Fair --

2 p.m. – 8 p.m. / Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robot Demonstrations

10 a.m. – 8 p.m. / STEM Tours 

 

Tuesday, August 23

9 a.m. / COMREL Beautification Project / Morris Hill Cemetery

11:30 am – 1 pm / Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham presents “Being There Matters”
