BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police Officers are spreading some holiday cheer for the sixth year. From now until Christmas day, drivers who are pulled over for minor traffic violations could be issued a warning and two candy bars instead of a traffic citation.
The candy bars come with a message of holiday cheer and encourages the recipient to keep one and pass the other to someone else. The goal is to spread good cheer and remind drivers to drive safely this time of year.
Boise Police officers hope that everyone makes it home safely this time of year.
