UPDATE: Boise Police is thanking everyone who shared photos from Cooper Court over the weekend and sent in tips. The department says they got several calls from the community and identified and located the driver of the U-Haul.

According to a news release from Boise Police, charges are pending. The name of the driver was not released.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Boise Police Department is asking for help in identifying two suspects seen dumping trash on Saturday night at Cooper Court.

Pictures taken from a nearby surveillance camera show the suspects dumped a U-Haul truck full of garbage, mattresses, appliances, clothing and more. The subject in the yellow shoes was driving. The subject in the purple pants was the passenger.

Police say the incident blocked access to nearby homeless shelters, preventing first responders from getting to the area if there was an emergency.

BPD called a cleaning service to assist with the case.

Officers are looking for help in identifying the suspects in this investigation, who face up to 6 months in jail and $1000 fine plus restitution.

Anyone with information is urged to call dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers: at 208-343-COPS (2677), www.343COPS.com, or leave a tip using the “P3 Tips” app for mobile devices.
