BOISE, Idaho — The Boise State Broncos held off Colorado State to make history as the 2019 Broncos became the only team in school history to finish the regular season with a perfect conference record.
Jaylon Henderson in his third start went 26-36 for 253 yards and two touchdowns, he also ran one in, Khalil Shakir had a big game including some clutch catches in the 4th quarter, the sophomore finished with seven catches for 103 yards and the Broncos defense came away with two first half interceptions.
The Broncos will take their 11-1 record back to the blue next Saturday as they host Hawaii in the Mountain West Conference championship game, BSU defeated Hawaii 59-37 earlier this season.
Kickoff for the championshiip game will be next Saturday at 2:00, tickets for the big game are on sale.
