BOISE, Idaho — The Boise State football team jumped to No. 14 in both The Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches' Poll on Sunday.
With the help of 299 yards and two touchdowns from Hank Bachmeier, the Broncos rode a strong defensive effort to a 38-13 win over the UNLV Rebels. They are now the highest ranked non-power five team.
The Broncos have a busy week ahead as they prepare for their homecoming game against Hawaii, a team that has only lost once this season.
Last week, the Broncos were ranked No.16 (AP) and No.15 (USA Today).
The Broncos are now 5-0 on the season and will return home to face 4-1 Hawaii at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. You can watch the game at Albertsons Stadium or on ESPN 2.
