BOISE, Idaho — Boise State University will temporarily close its campus after administrators learned eight people with presumed or positive COVID-19 cases visited campus within the last week.

The closure begins Tuesday, June 23 and runs until Sunday, June 28.

The university and/or Central District Health will notify people who may have had contact with those positive cases, and those people will be expected to self-quarantine for 14 days.

With the exception of security and housing staff, no employees, vendors or contractors -- regardless of positions, exposure risk or test results -- will be allowed on campus-owned or controlled facilities.
