Boise State's match up against UNLV has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The game was canceled in accordance with guidance from public health professionals, according to a a statement from the two programs and the Mountain West.
"Based on guidance from medical personnel and epidemiologists, Friday’s football game between UNLV and Boise State has been canceled and will not be rescheduled," the statement reads. "Both medical teams have been in communication in order to understand the full picture of COVID issues in our region."

The contest was originally set for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in Las Vegas.
The announcement comes shortly after Central District Health published a draft of a possible order to go in effect Dec. 6, if it becomes an order, that would ban youth and adult sports that cannot accommodate physical distancing.
