The Boise Towne Square announced Friday afternoon that the shopping mall’s common areas will be reopening on Tuesday, May 5.

This is following Gov. Brad Little’sfirst stage of reopening, which started Friday, and will allow for the food court and mall concourses to be open for customers.

In this first stage of Little’s Rebound Idaho plan, nonessential retailers that have been closed since the start of the stay-home order are now able to open. However, it’s not clear what the individual stores at the mall will do, as an email from Towne Square gave no indication.

The mallclosed its doors in Marchprior to the stay-home order that was a result of the coronavirus pandemic, leaving only the businesses with outside entrances open for a short time longer.
