BOISE, Idaho — Wave technicians are putting the finishing touches on phase two of Boise's Whitewater Park as they gear up for their grand opening this Thursday.
The J.A. & Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation will present three new features for kayakers and surfers to enjoy.
Since 2012 when two state-of-the-art waveshapers were installed for Phase 1, so many have been able to enjoy the Whitewater Park along the Boise River. Now, were ready for the next phase. The new park connects to Esther Simplot Park and it will have an open area for people to relax and hang out near the Boise River!
The city of Boise is relaunching their free life jacket program at Idaho River Sports tomorrow after St. Luke's made a five thousand dollar donation in an effort to get life jackets to families and children that need them.
