Boise police are searching for a man suspected of trying to entice a child near South Junior High on Thursday.
Police say a student reported an unidentified man approached them around 2:20 p.m. on the corner of Overland and Owyhee. The man reportedly approached the student on foot and initiated physical contact, police said. The student was able to walk away and then reported the incident to South Junior High, according to Boise police.
Officers have been patrolling the area since the incident took place, police say.
Boise police describe the suspect as an adult male with a dark complexion, brown hair and about 5-foot-9-inches and 220 lbs. He was last seen driving an early 2000's model of a black BMW.
