BOISE — Alexander Mattison had a big performance as the former Boise State running back ran a 4.52 40-yard dash unofficially, this should raise his draft stock as this marked a significant improvement on his 4.67 time at the NFL combine.
Mattison and several former Broncos showcased their skills for NFL scouts in a wide variety of drills and exercises.
"It's been awesome for I've been dreaming about this day since I was a little kid," said former Boise State Defensive End Durrant Miles. "It is awesome to be out here and compete."
The signature drills that provide NFL scouts with a baseline to compare players across the country include the bench press, the vertical leap, the broad jump, the 40-yard dash and multiple shuttle runs.
