Brundage Mountain will open this week for season passholders and select 4-pak holders.
The ski resort announced Monday it will open three chairlifts on Wednesday for Sneak Peek operations for 2020-2021 season passholders and some 4-pak holders as well as 2019-2020 season pass and select card holders. Single day tickets will not be available until further notice, according to the resort.
“We’re all chomping at the bit to get outside and enjoy some recreation on the snow,” said General Manager Ken Rider in a statement. “We’re stoked to be able to offer that experience to our most loyal guests, those who’ve already purchased season passes and Select 4-Paks.”
The resort will open Easy Street Triple, the Bear Chair and the BlueBird Express. Winter storms have brought a base of 16 inches at the base level and 25 inches on the upper mountain, according to the resort.
The lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday but the mountain will close for Thanksgiving, and reopen for Friday through Sunday. The resort will close again Monday and Tuesday "to assess the prospects for continued operations" on Dec. 2.
Face coverings are required at all Brundage Mountain indoor facilities, but guest services, rental, retail and restroom facilities will all be open in the Main Lodge. Grab and go food service will also be available from the Smoky's Bar and Grill area, but there will be no indoor seating. Face coverings are also required in lift lines and through the entire chairlift loading process.
The Wednesday opening will mark the McCall resorts first time opening before Thanksgiving since 2005.
