Fans will not be allowed in the stands at Bronco football games this season — but cardboard cut outs will be.

Boise State Athletics announced Friday no fans will be permitted into Albertsons Stadium this season after conversations with local health authorities. BSU will monitor the coronavirus situation in the Treasure Valley throughout the season, according to BSU athletics.

While fans will not be allowed to fill the seats, cardboard cutouts of fans will be.

For $50, fans can upload a photo of themselves and attend the games via a cardboard cutout. The cutouts will be placed around the stadium and fans will have the chance to pick them up at the end of the football season. The funds will go to support Bronco student-athletes.

A link will soon be available to purchase a cutout on Bronco social media channels, according to BSU Athletics.
