CALDWELL, Idaho — Sparkling lights will shine in Caldwell soon as the city is preparing for its annual Winter Wonderland. The event features more than one million lights along Indian Creek.
Opening weekend starts Friday, November 20. Due to COVID-19, there will be no lighting ceremony, and the festival has made other changes, including extending the opening event to three days.
Staff and volunteers will limit the ice skating to 150 people, and social distancing signs will be placed in the waiting area. Skates will also be sanitized after each use, and hand-sanitizing stations will be provided.
The Winter Wonderland works with Destination Caldwell to feature food trucks, vendors, and entertainment all three days of its opening.
