CALDWELL, Idaho — Ridge Runners Remodeling gives back to the community as ten percent of their jobs they perform they do for free out of the kindness of their hearts.

Dale King is one of the recipients of this gesture as last week the roofers started frantically working in order to fix her roof before it snowed, the weight of snow could have collapsed King's roof.

To show her thanks King cooked a Thanksgiving meal for this crew of roofers who showed up all showed up at her house.

"When we help people out we get to meet and understand who they are," said Eric Libby the owner of Ridge Runners Remodeling. "She made food for my guys all week which was awesome."

It also meant that Dale had somebody to spend her Thanksgiving with as her two sons live in California.

"They remind me of my sons and I miss my boys," said King. "It gives me a chance to help feed them and be a mother."

It was a special Thanksgiving as a week ago these people were strangers, but that has all changed as they sat down to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal and a little bit of meditation.

Ridge Runners Remodeling offered to re-roof some schools in the district and has shown time and time again how dedicated they are to helping out, but on Thanksgiving it was all about making Dale King smile.

"To see her so happy and thankful for all of it is heartwarming," said Anthony Stowell of Ridge Runners Remodeling. "It feels good to be here, I'm here for her."
