Camp Rainbow Gold in Idaho has received a large cash infusion that is allowing it to finally own its own campsite instead of leasing them, and can now be consistently located for cancer patients, siblings, and their families. The new campsite is in the Wood River Valley, about 3 hours from Boise.
Throughout the camp's 35 year history, it had leased campsites and didn't establish long-term contracts with landholders.
