Canopy Watch is a non-profit organization that makes it their mission to bring people into the forest through expeditions, training and research.
On Saturday, Canopy Watch brought their love of climbing trees to the Idaho Botanical Garden and gave people a unique opportunity.
"It's a chance for people to get to the top of a tree where they experience a different perspective on the world around them," said David Anderson. "They get a different feeling and appreciation for trees and almost every climber that comes down to the ground has a different appreciation for themselves."
Several climbers of all different ages were able to conquer their fears while having a fun time dangling from ropes as they climbed into a large tree.
Canopy Watch also uses different equipment for climbing trees with rocks than a rock climber would use because climbing trees requires a different process.
