CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — As is tradition in Canyon County on President's Day, the county Republican party holds their annual Lincoln Day banquet. The banquet is a chance for the local GOP to hear from speakers and get caught up-to-date on things happening here and in Washington.
Senator Mike Crapo was one of the speakers Monday night and we asked him why he enjoys these get togethers.
"That's an opportunity for Republicans to get together and to discuss politics and really engage in what the party is all about which is to try and strengthen and improve America," said Crapo.
Coming up Sunday night at 10, you can hear Senator Crapo address issues from the recent impeachment hearings to the soaring national debt.
