The U.S. Marshals office along with the Canyon County Sheriff's Office, Caldwell police, and Canyon County SWAT have taken 40-year-old Kenny McDonald into custody after a brief standoff.
McDonald was wanted in connection with an incident last Friday when police say he brandished a handgun and stole an SUV. Initially McDonald refused to leave his residence but he eventually surrendered without incident.
Local schools have been notified they may end lockdown procedures.
