A social worker with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare joined us on Good Morning Idaho today to talk about National Adoption Day taking place this week. Adoption Day is a national event to raise awareness for children in foster care who need permanent homes.
Canyon County is hosting an event on Friday that is open to the public. It's scheduled for 12 p.m. at the New Administration Building at 111 N. 11th Ave. In Caldwell. First there will be adoption finalizations followed by a celebration ceremony that will include guest speakers, family law attorneys, local adoption agencies and refreshments.
