CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Canyon County is holding elections involving two different school districts at the end of August.
Early voting begins August 12 for eligible voters at the Canyon County Elections Office. The voting times are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
August 16 is the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail. A public logic and accuracy test will be held at 5:30 p.m. on August 22 at the Elections Building.
Election day is on August 27, polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The 27th is also the last day to return absentee ballots to the elections office. They must be received by 8 p.m.
Four contests are open for election.
