The Children’s Museum of Idaho is set to open its doors for the first time this weekend. An official ribbon cutting and open house will take place Saturday with a formal grand opening for the public to enjoy on Sunday. Some of the museum's sponsors include Trader Joes, Idaho Pizza Company, West Vet Veterinary Clinic. These sponsors created interactive displays for children and their parents to engage with.

The interactive exhibits are designed to be manipulated by children and guided by an adult. This museum is the first of it's kind in the Gem State. The "hands-on approach inspires young minds to take an active role that stimulates learning and addresses the developmental needs of children" says the Children's Museum.
