NAMPA, Idaho — The City of Nampa will accept Christmas trees for recycling between December 26 through January 16. Trees may be dropped off at Kohlerlawn Cemetery Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Residents are asked to follow directional signs on Weamer Lane for the drop-off location at the compost site within the cemetery. Staff are available to answer questions regarding the drop-off location at the cemetery office or by calling 208-468-5898 prior to drop-off.
Due to Kohlerlawn Cemetery funeral service schedules, residents are asked to only leave trees at the dedicated drop-off site and not at the cemetery office or cemetery shop.
Trees must be free of stands, lights, ornaments, tinsel and other objects. The trees will be mulched and used throughout the City on walking paths and in tree wells.
