BOISE, Idaho — The Matador Mexican restaurant and kitchen has been a big part of the scene in downtown Boise since 2010. Every year on Cinco de Mayo the Matador goes all out with good food, music and cocktails.

This year the Matador is hosting their first ever street party at their downtown location. Regional General Manager, Brad Severe, says with this being their 9th celebration they felt it was time "to take the celebration to the streets."

The indoor, family-friendly event starts at 11 a.m and the 21+ outdoor street party will start at 2 p.m. Guests can expect lots of authentic made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and, of course, tequila.
