BOISE, Idaho — We've seen quite a bit of precipitation in the Boise area this weekend, but if you still feel like heading into the foothills, check trail conditions before you go.
Boise Parks and Rec is reminding people the Greenbelt is a great option when we see muddy conditions.
Table Rock trails are closed today due to muddy conditions. Please respect the closure and find another place to recreate. The Greenbelt is a good option when wet conditions persist ☔️ pic.twitter.com/HhZ3Y5Mt8i

The trail at Table Rock was closed to hikers Sunday to prevent erosion.
If you come across a muddy trail, it's important to go through it -- not around it.
