TWIN FALLS, Idaho — The College of Southern Idaho will welcome back students and the broader community back to campus beginning Monday, June 22. Based on information shared by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, and South-Central Public Health District (SCPHD), the College will reopen campus with the safety and well-being of students and employees in mind.

Main Campus offices in Twin Falls will reopen to walk-in traffic on Monday, June 22, at 8:00 a.m. Some offices may be temporarily relocated to achieve social distancing. CSI advises everyone to be attentive to signage on building entrances regarding any temporary office locations.

The college will begin its fall semester on August 24. Registration for the fall semester is currently open and courses will be offered in a variety of formats to accommodate students’ needs, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid offerings. In-person instruction is planned through the entire fall semester while ensuring that public safety standards are observed. Students and employees will be expected to wear facial coverings on campus where social distancing is not feasible and are encouraged to follow state guidelines while off-campus. To-go meal options will be available from dining services. The CSI Student Recreation Center will also reopen on Monday, June 22.

The college’s Athletic Department will be coordinating with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) to implement athletics for 2020-2021. The NJCAA is expected to provide additional guidance in late June.
