Construction on the Cole Rd. and Fairview Ave. intersection is scheduled to begin in January. Utility work on the project began this fall. Work is expected to be complete by late summer 2017.
Nicole DuBois, public information specialist with the Ada County Highway District (ACHD), says the project includes adding more through lanes and turn lanes, upgrading traffic signals and constructing new sidewalks.
During construction, drivers can expect lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and several closures on Cole Rd.
