Idaho State Police are investigating a crash that occurred on westbound I-84 involving several vehicles and an ISP Trooper.
According to ISP Spokeswoman Teresa Baker, an ISP motorcycle trooper stopped a truck for a traffic violation when a second truck collided with the stopped vehicle.
The truck then hit the trooper and briefly pinned him against a jersey barrier on the side of the road,

Drivers for the other two vehicles are being transported to a local hospital while crews clean up the scene.
Both of those drivers appear to have non-life threatening injuries. The ISP trooper was also transported for evaluation.

The accident occurred between McDermott and Robinson Road resulting in at least two lanes being shut down.
No word on why the truck collided with the other vehicle.
