Crews are mopping up a 150 acre grass fire in southern Ada County.
Officials say the fire had been burning near the intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Kuna Mora Rd.
The fire was initially called in to 911 just past 11:00 Thursday morning. Some structures were initially threatened but they were protected and did not burn, according to officials.
The active part of the fire was southeast of the intersection and was affecting the roadway, but the road has since been reopened.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Active flames have been knocked down on the Vista Fire south of Boise and Kuna Mora road is now open. Crews are in the process of securing containment lines and mopping up. Fire is estimated to be 150 acres with no structures lost.
