Crouch man in custody, accused of shooting at cars through bedroom window

CROUCH, Idaho — Idaho State Police say a 70-year-old man is in custody for shooting at passing cars through a bedroom window.

ISP assisted Boise County with the call around 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Officers were called to a report of a male subject "discharging a firearm from their bedroom window at passing vehicles" in Crouch.

The Idaho State Police SWAT team entered the home and apprehended the suspect, Terry L Sims, 70, of Crouch, ID.

Sims is charged with Aggravated Assault (F), Unlawful Discharge of a Weapon (F), and Resisting or Obstructing Officers (M).

Sims is being held at the Ada County Jail. The Boise County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
