Decomposed body found in eastern Idaho home

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a decomposed body that was found in a home about 2 p.m. Sunday.

The remains were found at 2390 Ross Avenue in Ammon.

“The victim had been deceased for an extensive period of time and was the only person located inside the residence,” said Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde.

Detectives have not yet been able to positively identify the body, due to extensive decomposition.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

Deputies say a woman named Lisa Stukey is the homeowner, but they have not yet been able to determine is she is the deceased person.

The Sheriff’s Office is looking for Stukey and/or people known to her.

“We’re are treating this investigation as a homicide pending processing of evidence and the autopsy,” the Sheriff said.
