BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A Boise County deputy and a 69-year-old man were hospitalized after a crash.
Idaho State Police reported Deputy David Lee was turning around in a marked Ford Explorer on Highway 21 on Saturday when Joseph Kaiser collided with the vehicle in a Ford Escape.
Lee was attempting to catch up with a speeding driver.
Kaiser was airlifted to the hospital and Lee was taken for treatment by an ambulance.
Their conditions are unknown.
The highway was blocked for more than an hour.
