Long lines are expected at the DMV, but Friday morning's line may have been a little too long for some.
Shortly after opening, DMV's statewide experienced a system crash, stopping services throughout Idaho.
Lines grew but the crash was only brief. The system came back online around 8:30 a.m. restoring services to the entire state.
We spoke to a few customers at the DMV off Benjamin Lane in Boise who got through the line, they said most people waited it out and the line is running smoothly again. At least as smooth as can be expected at a DMV.
