BOISE, Idaho — The Downtown Boise Association has launched a campaign to help local businesses. The effort is called "This Is Your Downtown" and it includes different challenges each week.
"Our goal is to create a cohesive campaign that will be recognizable and that we can collectively use to encourage our community to support downtown businesses during this “new normal,” Heather Lile, DBA Business Relations Manager stated.
This week's challenge is buying a gift card. Post your new purchase on the Buy A Gift Card event page on Facebook and you could win another $25 gift card.
Here is a list of the weekly challenges for April:
- April 6-10: Buy a gift card. Post how you supporting downtown Boise on the Buy a gift card event page for a chance to win a $25 Downtown Boise gift card
- April 13-17: Shop over the phone and online. Post how you supported a downtown Boise business on the Shop Online Event Page for a chance to win a $25 Downtown Boise gift card.
- April 20-24: Order a meal for pick-up or delivery. Post how you supported a downtown Boise restaurant on the Order Food/Drink Event page for a chance to win a $25 Downtown Boise gift card.
- April 27-May 1: Leave a review or promote on social media. Post how you supported a downtown Boise restaurant on the Post a Review Event Page for a chance to win a $25 Downtown Boise gift card.
Drawings for the gift cards are happening every Friday. You can also show us how you are supporting local restaurants and businesses. Share a picture of where you are getting takeout or delivery with #WereOpen.
