The Ada County Highway District has given the Treefort Music Fest permission to close a couple of streets in downtown Boise to accommodate their event beginning Wednesday, March 23).
According to ACHD spokeswoman Nicole DuBois, the closures will occur in two phases.
· Phase 1 closures involve closing Grove Street between 11th Street and 13th Street, and 12th Street between Front Street and Main Street. This closure will begin Wednesday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. and will last until Monday, March 28 at 5 a.m.
· Phase 2 closures involve closing Grove Street between 13th Street and 14th Street. That closure will begin on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. and will last until Monday, March 28 at 5 a.m.
“Drivers can expect delays in this area. Detour routes will be posted, but motorists should use Main Street, Front Street, 11th Street and 13th Street to go to the event,” DuBois said.
