Dozens gather in Boise hoping to heal community

While protests have erupted across the country including here in the city of trees.  Today, organizers in the treasure valley held a unity rally.

Close to one hundred people gathered on the Idaho Statehouse steps to make their voices heard in an effort to help heal the community after the election.

Both democrat and republican representatives gave speeches to the group. Organizers say their message is not one of hate but of love.

Organizers say they  plan to hold more rallies in the coming weeks.
