Nobody was hurt, but one man is in jail after plowing through Hong Kong Restaurant just after midnight Wednesday.
Nampa police say Michael Ball of Meridian was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger north on 12th Ave. South, and tried to turn left onto 2nd Street South. He never finished the turn, and plowed right through the front doors of the restaurant. Nobody was inside when the crash happened.
Ball was not hurt. Police arrested him for felony DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
Police estimate the total damage to the building to be several thousand dollars. Ball's truck also damaged a lamp post in front of the building.
