Tolsma USA, a Holland-based company, is scheduled to officially open the doors of its North American headquarters in Boise Friday.

The company currently has plants in Nampa and Idaho Falls. It expects to hire over 100 workers over the next five years, said company spokeswoman Ysabel Bilbao.

“Tolsma is known in sixty countries around the world for its state-of-the-art climate control technology that improves potato storage and energy efficiency,” she explained.

The grand opening is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at 875 W. McGregor Court, Suite 100.

Tolsma CEO Pieter Wesseling and CCO Dim-Jan de Visser are scheduled to attend -- as well as Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce Megan Ronk  and Bill Conners, President and CEO of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce.
