SWAN VALLEY, Idaho — The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was found trapped under a car in a creek bed early Sunday morning.
Deputies were called to the area of Fall Creek Road, one mile from Snake River Road, around 6:00 a.m. Sunday.
Officials say hunters found a vehicle crashed in the creek bed and could see a deceased individual trapped underneath the car, submerged in the water.
"Deputies arrived and determined the crash happened sometime during the night and there was indication that alcohol was a factor in the cause," according to a press release.
The victim was identified as 70-year-old Ted Bromley of Bonneville County.
Deputies are still investigating the crash.
