A section of Eagle Read in south Ada County is shut down following a collision between a train and a semi tractor-trailer near the Eagle and Kuna Mora intersection.
The crash happened about 12:20 p.m. Monday, according to an Ada County dispatch supervisor.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. Nor are there any reports of cargo spillage.
Crews from the Eagle Fire Department, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office and Ada County paramedics are all on the scene.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Eagle Road are closed, according to the supervisor.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
It is unknown how long it will take crews to remove the wreckage.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
