BOISE, Idaho — International influence starts with knowing how to manage cross-cultural business deals.

Wednesday at Boise State, students at the College of Business and Economics witnessed two companies, one local and one Taiwanese, sign a Memorandum of Understanding in a live business deal slated to bring real-world results.

"This is a great opportunity for students to see how the proof is in the pudding-- how these relationships and all this work, and all this consulting and research, can actually come together into real long-term business agreements," said Jack Marr, associate professor of International Business, Boise State.

The two companies included Taiwan-based manufacturing company Megaforce and local industrial development company SGW Designworks.
