Original Story: With Elizabeth Warren dropping out of the race for the democratic nomination for president, the Idaho Democratic Party's biggest fundraiser is in flux.
Warren stepped in as the speaker for the Frank and Bethine Church Gala Saturday to fill in for Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who backed out of the race and his commitment to speak at the event.
A part official tells 6 On Your Side that Warren is still scheduled to speak to the state party.
Idaho Democrats have seen a recent transition of power, with longtime legislators like Sen. Cherie Buckner-Webb, Sen. Maryanne Jordan and Rep. Mat Erpelding not seeking re-election in November.
The primary election for legislative positions is scheduled for May 19.
