Empty Bowls fundraiser returns to downtown Boise Friday

Posted

It's a holiday tradition in the Treasure Valley that people look forward to every year, The Idaho Foodbank's Empty Bowl's event returns to downtown Boise this Friday.

The yearly event showcases handcrafted bowls you can purchase and fill up with soup from a number of local restaurants.  This year there are more than 3,000 bowls to choose from and soups from nearly two dozen restaurants.  Bowls start at $10.

Morgan Wilson, Vice President of Development at The Idaho Foodbank, stopped by Good Morning Idaho today to talk about this year's event.

Empty Bowls takes place Friday the 25th at the Grove Plaza.  It runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
