BOISE, Idaho — Saturday was family day at the St. Alphonsus Festival of Trees.
The event was complete with live entertainment and a scavenger hunt for the kids.
"I've heard so many wonderful stories of how this event is the kick off for the holidays for families and kids. Watching children interact with Santa and play with the Legos and see all the really cool trees, it brings a smile to everybody's face," said Nancee Bakken, the Development Officer for the St. Alphonsus Foundation.
The Festival of Trees features over 83 Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths and table decor.
The event runs until December 1st and the proceeds support the Mobile Mammography vehicles.
