Starting today, firefighters will spend the next couple of weeks battling more than flames.
Local firefighters and the Muscular Dystrophy Association are holding their annual "Fill the Boot" fundraiser.
Firefighters will be standing at street corners collecting donations from generous commuters. All proceeds go to local MDA offices, which work to provide wheelchair assistance and support to families.
You can look for the firefighters at intersections across the valley through this weekend and then again in two weeks.
