Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire early this morning in Caldwell.
The call came in to Canyon County Dispatch at around 3 a.m. to a fire at a home on Iowa Street near Locust Street.
Fire crews say when they arrived the garage was fully engulfed and the fire spread to the attic space of the home.
Two people were at home at the time, but they got out safely. Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control.
Fire crews from Caldwell, Parma, Star, Middleton and Nampa responded to the fire. The Caldwell Battalion Chief says the Red Cross is helping the residents.
