Four arrested in motel drug bust

Idaho Falls Police officers arrested four people Tuesday after drugs were reportedly found in their motel room.

Tina Spencer, 22, of St. Anthony was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for three warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Marijuana, resisting and obstructing, frequenting a place drugs are being used and misdemeanor injury to a child.

Phillip Worsham, 22, of St. Anthony was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for a warrant and possession of methamphetamine.

Joshua Spencer, 22, of St. Anthony was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for two warrants, providing false information to police and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charlie Phelps, 45, of Idaho Falls was cited and released for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Officers say they received information Tuesday night that Spencer, wanted on three warrants, was staying at the Pinecrest Inn, according to Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen.

“Officers arrived and made contact with Spencer in the parking lot. She was taken into custody and found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia,” Hansen stated.

After being arrested, the woman asked the officers if she could contact the people in her motel room to take care of her five?year?old son -- who was also in the room.

“Officers went to the room and found Worsham, Phelps and Joshua Spencer with various pieces of drug paraphernalia,methamphetamine and marijuana,” Hansen added.

Officers said the both Spencers lied to police about Joshua Spencer’s identity.

The five?year?old boy was placed in the care of a relative.
